Pub Stops of Swansea

A recent Reddit post showed a map of Swansea city centre which shows the most popular pubs, clubs and restaurants in the area. There are too many too list here but they include places from the suburban areas of Hafod and Cwmbrwla to the Maritime Quarter and Mumbles Pier such as the following:

You’re quite spoilt for choices with this many places to try

  • The Smiths Arms in Hafod

  • Turtle Bay (which is next door to Cwtsh Hostel by the way ;)

  • Las Iguanas, Peppermint and The Griffin (all located on WInd Street with much more local favourites)

  • Bunkhouse (which is an amazing local music venue that hosts Fringe Festival along with other venues).

  • Grape and Olive (located on the top floor of the Meridian Tower, the largest building in Wales with an amazing view of Swansea’s aware-winning natural beaches).

  • Pump House

  • Castellamare

  • Secret Beach Bar

We highly recommend that you look at the map if you plan to visit the area and check out local cuisines (which are abundant thanks to Swansea’s diverse background). You would not be disappointed with these choices.

A lovely photo of Verdi’s, a lush local Italian restaurant in the Mumbles.

And if you’re a big music fan then you would very much enjoy the annual Fringe Festival, which is being hosted at multiple venues including Hangar 18, Crowleys, The Hanbury and The Bunkhouse.

We hope you get to see Swansea at it’s best :)
