New Year’s Eve 2021 in Swansea

The new government rules are pretty bleak but they are not stopping Swansea from celebrating the holiday properly! There are still plenty of things to do in the city. All pubs are still open at a reduced capacity and many  have adopted the book before you go policy which is customary for new years even before the pandemic. The main issue is that all nightclubs have been forced to close but bars remain open which still gives plenty of opportunity for a night out.

Before the pandemic a key area for New Year’s Eve was Wind Street. The venues which seem to still be open for events on Wind Street are Founders & Co., Coyote Ugly Saloon, Peppermint, No Sign Wine Bar, The Bank Statement, Pitcher & Piano, Dorothy’s Showbar, Jack Murphy’s, Savana, The Perch, The Griffin and Slug & Lettuce. Some other venues close by are Bunkers!, Bierkeller, Juniper Place, Three Lamps, Old Havana, Hogarths, The Cross Keys and Tenpin.

This provides a variety of different themes and activities for the special occasion.

Happy Holidays,

The Cwtsh-Hostel Team.
